Raul Rangell, local artist and musician, and his wife, Emily Abbink, have recently returned from a 6-week music residency in Venice Italy.

Paul returns just in time for his new exhibit, NOT GUILTY, opening May 1.  The May exhibit includes lithographs, collages, and hand-made metal and wood constructions.

A closing celebration for NOT GUILTY will take place on Saturday, May 30, from 12:00 – 4:00 p.m. at Michaelangelo Gallery.  Paul, along with other notorious local musicians, will perform during the exhibit’s closing event.

Paul Rangell taught printmaking and drawing full-time at UC Santa Cruz for thirty years.  Music and art are now his full-time job.  He can bee seen playing in Santa Cruz where people congregate to eat and drink.
